Animals Available for Adoption

Nika

Nika is a spayed female Peke/Pom mix who is about 6 years old. She is housetrained and lgets along well with other dogs. Her owner had cancer and she couldn't stay in the house with them any longer.

Bob

Bob is a rat terrier that is close to 2 years old. He loves people, cats, other dogs. Bob's owner had another dog who didn't like him so he was brought to WCHS to find another home.

Jose

Jose is a neutered male tiger and white cat. He is front declawed and is around 2 years old. Jose needs to be the only cat in the household.

Paul

Paul is a beagle/terrier mix who came to WCHS because his family was moving and he couldn't go with them. He is good with children but does need some work with his housetraining.

Meow Meow

Meow Meow is a male tiger cat who was found stray. He is very lovable and is litterboxed trained.

Princess

Princess is a female Shih tzu/poodle mix who is around 1 year old. She came in with Brownie because their family was moving.

Noah

Noah is a neutered male Poodle/Bichon mix who is around two years old. He loves other dogs but does need work with houestraining.

Parker

Parker is a male liver and white spaniel who came in with Ginger. He is housetrained and great with kids. Parker is around 2 years old.

Kaine

kaine is a male 3 year old Cocker Spaniel. He is housetrained and loves other dogs. He came to us because his family was moving and he couldn't go with them.

Duke

Duke is a neutered male boxer that is around 3 years old. He is housetrained and good with kids. His family had allergies so they brought him here for us to find him another home.

Christy

This female tan terrier mix came to us after someone pushed her out of a car at a park in Marion and drove off. She is very sweet and gentle.

Boo Boo

Boo Boo is a male 7 year old Shih Tzu. He is very small in size but loves the company of the other dogs in his kennel.

Tater-Bug

Tater-Bug is a male neutered male pom mix. He is currently living with one of our staff memebers but is looking for a home with a lot of energy. He is working on his housetraining and loves to play with people and other dogs. He is good with cats and walks well on a leash. For more info call and ask for Anne Beaston.

Grace

Grace is a spayed female Pug mix that is around 2 years old. She is good with kids and dogs. She is also housetrained.

We are open for adoptions Monday-Thursday 1-5, Saturday 11-2.

While WCHS does not release animals to rescues, we encourage rescues to refer potential adopters directly to us.

 

There are approximately 140 animals available for adoption at any given time at the Wyandot County Humane Society. At this time, available animals include but are not limited to: A 3 year old fawn and white neutered Boxer, a tan female Shepherd mix, a 7 year old black and white male Shih Tzu, a brown male Cocker Spaniel, a tri-colored spayed female Beagle, a spayed female tan Pug mix, a brown neutered male Lab-Beagle mix, 4 black and white Walker-Heeler mix puppies, and many nice cats and kittens looking for a loving home like yours.
