The following report was prepared by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Sept.2, 2010, and is correct as of that date:


Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include: A older female yellow Lab, a older female black and tan Shepherd mix, a female Chihuahua/Shih Tzu that is black and wearing a pink collar, a NM orange and white cat that is declawed in the front, a Orange and white NM cat that is not declawed, a black and white female Cat wearing a pink collar, a Male grey tiger Cat with white on chest and the right tip of it's ear, A female yellow tabby Cat, a black female Cat who is missing a bottom tooth, a female tan and white Jack Russell mix who has a tooth that sticks out and is wearing a blue flower collar, a female black Lab, a female white Shepherd wearing a red collar, and a male tiger and white cat with medium length hair and is missing a tooth.



Animals in stray since the last report that are still at the shelter include: A female white and tan Terrier Mix, a male black and white Lab Mix, 2 female Lab Puppies, a male brindle Pitbull Mix, a female brindle and white Pitbull Mix, a female tan Peke Mix, a male white Cat, and a female tiger and white Cat.



Found animals since the last report include:   A male all tan Jack Russell Mix.

If you’re missing a pet, or if you find a pet, call us here at the Humane Society, we have staff available 8am to 10 pm, 7 days a week, and we’ll try to get everyone back home where they should be. The Humane Society is located on Co Hwy 330 in Upper Sandusky, the first house on the right past the CSX railroad tracks. There is also a drop-off receiving station on State Route 199, just south of Carey at Tymochtee Creek that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Pick-up, rescue, and capture services are available when necessary. WCHS never charges a fee for the above referenced services, nor for animal surrender. However, donations to help cover expenses for caring for your animal are greatly appreciated. The regular hours for visiting or adopting are Monday thru Thursday, 1 PM to 5 PM and Saturday, 11 AM to 2 PM. If you’re unable to make it during these times, additional appointments can be arranged by calling (419)294-4477.
