Lost & Found
The following report was prepared by the Wyandot County Humane Society on March 4th , 2010, and is correct as of that date:
Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been
found include: A white male cat with grey on ears, tail and a spot on
his back, a brown and white male German Shorthair Pointer, a black and white
female Lab, a young neutered male cat, and a black and brown male Coonhound.
Animals in stray since the last report that are still at the shelter include:
a grey male Schnauzer mix, a tan and white male Chihuahua mix, a fawn male Boxer
puppy, a brown male Lab, a red male Golden Retriever, and a black Lhasa Apso
mix.
Found animals since the last report include: There were no animals
reported as found to the Humane Society.
If you’re missing a pet, or if you find a pet, call us here at
the Humane Society, we have staff available 8am to 10 pm, 7 days a week, and we’ll try to get everyone back home where they should
be. The Humane Society is located on Co Hwy 330 in Upper Sandusky, the first
house on the right past the CSX railroad tracks. There is also a drop-off
receiving station on State Route 199, just south of Carey at Tymochtee Creek
that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Pick-up, rescue, and capture services are available when necessary. WCHS never
charges a fee for the above referenced services, nor for animal surrender.
However, donations to help cover expenses for caring for your animal are greatly
appreciated. The regular hours for visiting or adopting are Monday thru
Thursday, 1 PM to 5 PM and Saturday, 11 AM to 2 PM. If you’re unable to make it
during these times, additional appointments can be arranged by calling
