Program
WCHS' sister organization, HOPE, provides low-cost spay/neuter services. Prices range from $15 - $65. By appointment only. See HOPE for more information.
Education
The Staff and volunteers are available to speak to local groups and for tours of the shelter. Literature is available on many issues involving animals and can be used by students and others researching for papers and discussions. The Society also operates a popular booth at the Wyandot County Fair each September to show some of the animals available for adoption, and to allow people to talk directly with the organization's staff and volunteers. We hope to see you there and at our shelter.
Animal Rescue
WCHS has a fully-trained staff, all necessary equipment, and several specially designed vehicles to handle problems involving animals in the community and around the region. All services are available to individuals, other animal rescue groups, and governmental units on request. All advice, consultations, and services are free. Emergency veterinary support is available 24 hours a day.
